When complete, Oakleaf Town Center will offer Westside residents 850,000 square feet of shopping at the corner of Old Middleburg Road and Argyle Forest Boulevard. First it was the St. Johns Town Center, now Oakleaf Plantation and Argyle Forest will have their own mega shopping center. Cool.

The Saint Petersburg developers Sembler Co. and Granite Properties Inc. broke ground on OakLeaf Town Center around March 2006 at the corner of Argyle Forest Boulevard and Old Middleburg Road. Nine out parcels will have a gas station, restaurants, banks and drug stores. The area continues to boom bringing in new jobs, thousands of new homes and it is expected to grow to about 170,000 residents in the years to come.
